Keep pets at home

To the editor:

The article about Kelly Bennett and her snared cat: Let me see if I have this right, she lost a cat last summer, and now she almost lost another one. Well, duh.

If you keep your cat — or dog — in your house, or at least on your property, you won’t have this problem.

If Bennett wants someone to blame for her cat’s injury, all she has to do is look in the mirror. It is her fault, no one else’s. If the cat had been run over, or chewed up by a dog, would she be trying to blame the car or the dog?

Also, I noticed that the article failed to mention borough ordinance 24.05.070 which Bennett is in violation of. Typical biased reporting by the Frontiersman.
