Whether the Alaska State Fair board likes it or not the log cabins at the fair are like the centerpiece on a Thanksgiving table. People are drawn to them. They make a statement, a unique wave to Alaskan’s past and are like being with family at the holidays. You leave with a comfortable feeling of nostalgia. Every problem has more than one solution. To demolish the cabins is a bad solution.
I have spoken with many people about this and not one wants to see the cabins gone.
