WASILLA — Tessa Muilenburg stopped 23 shots to help the Mat-Su Ravens girls’ hockey team score a 1-1 tie against South Anchorage/Bartlett at the Brett Memorial Ice Arena earlier this week.
The Ravens netminder made seven saves during the final period of regulation and stopped all five shots she saw in overtime to help Mat-Su tie a South/Bartlett team that beat the Ravens 3-0 last week.
Indigo Beck recorded an unassisted tally with eight seconds left in the second period to give the Ravens the first lead.
Jamie Bell scored unassisted midway through the third for South/Bartlett to tie the game at 1.
Last week, Sarah Belle-Srebernak scored twice to help the Ravens skate to a 2-2 tie with Chugiak/Eagle River. Elisa Gamez assisted on both of the goals for the Ravens.
In other league action, Dimond/West posted a 5-0 win over Mat-Su last Saturday in Anchorage.
