I’ve known Mark Okeson and followed his career since he graduated from Boise State University. I am a retired administrator from the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District having served as associate superintendent for personnel and finally superintendent. I tried to hire Mark from the Mat-Su, but Mark desired to remain in the Valley. Mark is hard working, intelligent and a real professional. If I were in a position to hire him I would without reservation. Maybe the Peninsula can get lucky now should a position become available.
