Kerri Ann Beliveau

Wasilla resident Kerri Ann Beliveau, 41, died in her home Feb. 19, 2006. There will be a viewing Friday from 7-9 p.m., at Chapel of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wasilla, and a funeral service Saturday at 10 a.m., at the same location. Officiating will be Father Stan Alley, assisting the Rev. Kevin Shumway. Pallbearers will include Thomas Callahan, Scott Rose, Robert Busch, Walter Smith, Lorie Miner, Steve Jackson and two honorary pallbearers, Patrick Calahan and Lloyd Webber.

Ms. Beliveau was born May 16, 1964, in Cheverly, Md. She earned her bachelor of science degree in speech pathology from Loyola University, and did some postgraduate work at University of Alaska and University of Central Florida. She was an emergency medical technician II in District 2 of Alaska Fire Department.

She moved to Alaska in 1991. She worked as a speech pathologist in the Mat-Su Borough School District, for Goose Bay Elementary. She was affiliated with Lady of Our Lakes Catholic Church.

Ms. Beliveau has won many awards, including EMT Medic of the Year for 2005, voted on by her peers, EMT CPR Save 2005, EMT Rookie of the Year 2004, District 2; State of Florida Teacheriffic Award, and has earned her first- and third-degree black belt and instruction. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors, skiing, hiking, working with children, teaching sign language and her beloved dog, Yukon.

Her family wrote, &#8220From Florida to Alaska, Kerri's loving heart embraced every person she met, from the smallest child to the homeless. Her radiant smile lit up a room. She passionately gave her best to every person in every situation.

&#8220True to her extremely generous heart, Kerri gave the gift of life through organ donation to make life better for many others.”

She is survived by her parents, Walter and Marilyn Beliveau of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Kimberly Beliveau Busch from Arnold, Md., and Diane Beliveau from Potomac Falls, Va.; brother-in-law, Robert Busch from Arnold, Md., and niece, Nichole Busch.
