Snow Fire Crezee waves to passing cars along the Parks Highway during a rally Thursday afternoon. The rally, put on by the Key Coalition, was organized to draw attention to four major priorities needed to help individuals with special needs. Thursday’s rally was just one of several that happened around the state at the same time. The Key Coalition’s top priorities are a reduction in the waiting list for community services, a periodic rate review, support for the HUB component of the Alaska Complex Behavior Collaborative and passing House Bill 79 and Senate Bill 74 requiring insurance coverage for autism spectrum disorders.
