KIM LESLIE EMBACH

Palmer resident Kim Leslie Embach, 48, passed away in her sleep while on village work in Dillingham on July 26, 2004.

She was born April 16, 1956, in Hudson, Mich., to Loriane Seals and Fedrick Taylor, whom she is survived by. She is also survived by her husband, Karl Embach of Palmer; four daughters, Clarissa Embach of Arizona, Kathy Kidrick of Big Lake, Karla Embach of Wasilla and Karri Embach of Palmer; granddaughter, Karolyn Kidrick of Big Lake; two grandsons, Chance Embach-Klein and Chase Klein, both of Palmer; two sisters, Sherry Brown and Liz Ryan, both of Michigan; brother, Marty Taylor of Michigan; and her grandmother, Ruth Robinson, also of Michigan.

Mrs. Embach moved to Seward in July 1989. She lived there for five years and then moved to Eagle River, where she resided for one year. Mrs. Embach moved to Palmer in June 1996 and resided there since. She worked as a dental assistant at Spring Creek Correctional Center and at Job Corps in Palmer. She also worked in several villages throughout Alaska.

Mrs. Embach enjoyed sewing, fishing, nature walks and spending time with her three grandchildren. Her family said: "Mother was a devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed. She was loved."

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home in Wasilla. Arrangements were made by Anchorage Funeral Home and Crematory.
