I would like to thank the neighbors who helped me with my son’s dog Cain. Someone hit him on Maud Road on Oct. 25 and just left him there to die.
My mail lady found him after (we had been) looking for him for 11 hours. Two of my neighbors stopped and helped me get him into my truck so I could get him to the vet. Sorry to say Cain got hit so hard that it shattered his pelvis and I had to put him down. His friends and other dogs look for him everyday. He was a good dog to my son for 14 years. We will all miss him so much.
Cain wishes that anyone who drives Maud Road to know there are adults, children, moose and dogs that live on this road for years and ask that you do 35 mph like the sign says. We also ask that families not be sad. I would like to return the rubber mat to the lady that let me use it to carry Cain. Thanks to all who helped.
