Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

WASILLA — Colony's not letting go of its stranglehold of the Northern Lights Conference.
Nine Knights advanced to the finals, eight individual won titles and Colony amassed 424.5 points en route to win its fourth straight conference crown during the NLC Championships at Wasilla High School on Friday.
“It feels amazing,” Colony senior Charles Coisman said after winning his third straight conference championship.
Coisman (119) and fellow senior Eric Fan (215) each hit the individual three-peat.
Isaac Wilson (112), Gabe Loggins (125), Sam Loggins (130), Chad Lowery (135), Kyle Boss (145) and Kenny Boykin (171) also won titles for Colony.
Jeremy White led second-place Wasilla with an 189-pound championship.
Skyview’s Auston Tennis was named the tourney’s outstanding wrestler after upsetting top-seeded Chase Montgomery, of Colony, the in the 140-pound final.
