BIG LAKE — Logan Sanders scored in overtime to give the Colony Knights a 2-1 win over the Houston Hawks at the Big Lake Rec Center Tuesday Knight.
Sanders snuck a puck into the Houston net with 3 minutes and 51 seconds left in the tiebreaker to lift Colony to the nonconference win. Colton Symbol also scored for the Knights, netting a goal late in the first to give Colony the 1-0 lead.
Patric Thistle scored late in the second to tie the score at 1. Colony outshot Houston 38-19 in the game. Rhys Jones made 36 saves in the Hawks loss. Colton Beebe stopped 18 shots to earn the win over Colony.

ANCHORAGE — Jacob Link notched a pair of goals and seven different players scored during Colony’s 8-4 win over East Anchorage at Ben Boeke Arena in Anchorage Wednesday.
Josh Boyer, Cy Eller, Curtis Foster, Stephen Kempenski, Anthony Kolendo and Colton Symbol also scored for the Knights. Eller and Sarah Diltz bagged two assists each.
Kevin Hale stopped 27 shots to earn the win in the Knights net.
PALMER — Two-time defending state champion Dimond skated past Palmer 14-0 at the MTA Events Center Wednesday.
