PALMER — The Colony Knights edged the Palmer Moose 32-28 on a foggy night at Colony High School Friday.
Colony clinched the Railbelt Conference title with the win and now own home field advantage during the first round of the playoffs. Palmer also clinched a playoff spot, despite the loss, thanks to West Valley's 18-7 win over Wasilla in Fairbanks Friday.
Skye Rench scored four times to lead Colony (5-2, 5-0) to the win.
Palmer had a final opportunity to win the back-and-forth game with 1st-and-goal at the 10-yard line during the final seconds of the game, but four straight PHS incompletions sealed the Colony win.
