WASILLA — Mackenzie Everett enjoyed another stellar performance on the mound to lead the Colony Knights to a 10-3 prep softball win over rival Palmer Wednesday night in Wasilla.
Everett finished with nine strikeouts, walked one and allowed only four Palmer hits in the win.
The Knights were also sparked by some early offense. Colony scored six times in the first inning to jump to an early lead. Tesa Finley finished with a single and a double for CHS. Cassidy Evans, Courtney Mulkins and Everett were also among the Knights to finish with doubles.
