WASILLA — Alyssa Oswald used a big night at the plate to lead Colony to a 14-6 softball win over rival Wasilla Thursday night.
Oswald, Colony’s leadoff hitter, finished 4 for 4 with four runs scores. She also drove in two. Danyel Finley led Wasilla with five RBI in the victory. Hailey Welcome drove in three runs.
Colony finished with 24 hits in the win.
Bryanna Scareatt earned the victory for CHS. The starting pitcher fanned six and didn’t walk a batter over five innings.
Jordan Malave led Wasilla with three hits.
