FAIRBANKS — The Colony Knights boys and girls basketball squads each started out the Mt. McKinley Bank Holiday Classic with a victory.
The Colony boys ran past Nome 61-30 during the first day of tourney action at Monroe Catholic School in Fairbanks. The Colony girls followed with 53-30 win over host Monroe.
Damien Fulp led the boys’ with 14 points. Joe Gray and Hunter Eisenhower scored 13 points each. Antonio Bush collected six points, eight rebounds and seven blocks.
Complete statistics were not available as of press time.
The Colony girls continue tourney play against Nome today at 3 p.m. The CHS boys follow with a match against Lathrop at 4:30 p.m.
