A Colony junior used a big night to lead her team to a lopsided victory over a Valley rival.

Hallie Clark scored 42 points during a 84-27 win over the Palmer Moose Tuesday night at Colony High School.

Clark buried six of her team’s seven three-pointers, and hit 18 shots from the field. She had 12 of Colony’s 22 first-quarter points, and 28 in the first half.

Tonya Karpow added 16 points and Alycia Shelley chipped in 11.

Four different players scored five points for the Moose.

The Colony boys completed the varsity sweep with a 55-50 win over Palmer.

Blake Dinkel led Colony with 14 points and Mylz Morgeau added 13.

Deandre Nika scored a dozen for Palmer. Lukas Owen had eight.

Colony also swept varsity basketball games on back-to-back days against Soldotna.

The Knights boys beat the Stars 84-35 on Saturday. Morgeau scored 33 for Colony.

The Knights beat the Stars 58-48 Friday. Dinkel scored 19 and Morgeau added 14.

The Colony girls beat SoHi 70-16 on Saturday. Clark scored 33. Morgan Ainsworth added 12.

The Knights also won 81-35 on Friday. Clark scored 24, Karpow added 19 and Ainsworth had 14.
