WASILLA — The Colony Knights swept four matches against the Palmer Moose in prep tennis action Tuesday.
Colony’s Logan Crawford and Brennan Easley beat Palmer’s Noah Machado and Steven Duncan 8-1 in boys’ doubles. Leah Wyzkowski and Mason Sheldon put together an 8-1 win over Palmer’s Julie Irvine and Jina Malone in girls’ singles. Colony’s Maryssa Scarcello posted an 8-3 victory over Palmer’s Katie Crowley in girls’ singles. In mixed doubles, Colony’s Lauren Leadbetter and Darian Cabalas earned an 8-2 win over Palmer’s Brianna Jensen and Ethan Welch.
The Knights also scrimmaged Bartlett early in the week, and scored four victories.
Easley and Crawford beat Bartlett’s Timothy Alex and Thane Hatcher in boys’ doubles 6-1, 6-2. Colony’s Leah Wyzkowski and Mason Sheldon outlasted Bartlett’s Cheng Her and Chova Her 6-1, 6-7, 10-8 in girls’ doubles. Colony’s Darian Cabalas and Lauren Leadbetter combined to score a 6-0 win over Bartlett’s Jonah Vang and Cheva Her in mixed doubles. Colony’s Kati Renfro and Sahara Iverson scored a 5-5, 7-1 victory over Bartlett’s Megahn Reese and Madison Reese in girls’ doubles.
