FAIRBANKS — Reanna Stewart fanned nine hitters to lead Colony to a 9-2 win over North Pole in Fairbanks on Friday.
Colony also suffered a 12-2 loss to Lathrop Friday evening.
Jenna Hondl scored both runs for CHS.
Also in Fairbanks, Wasilla suffered a pair of losses. North Pole beat Wasilla 8-3 and West Valley cruised past WHS 13-0.
The ASAA/First National Bank State Softball Championships begin next week at Cartee Fields in Anchorage.
Colony is the lone Valley team to make the tournament. The Knights are third seed from the Railbelt Conference.
