Knights win fourth straight
PALMER — The Colony Knights extended their winning streak to four with a 48-39 nonconference win over the Eagle River Wolves at Colony High School on Thursday.
Sophomore Hunter Eisenhower and senior Payton McCann combined for 24 points to help Colony improve to 4-3 overall. Eisenhower hit a pair of three-pointers and scored a team-high 13 points. McCann added 11 and sophomore Wyatt Peletier chipped in seven.
Kyle Taylor scored a game-best 14 for Eagle River.

Hawks score OT win in Nome tourney
NOME — The Houston Hawks scored a 57-53 overtime win over Bethel during the first day of the Nome Subway Showdown at Nome-Beltz High School Thursday.
Senior Max Rothley scored five of Houston’s eight points during the extra period to help the Hawks grab the win. Rothley also a team-high 13 in the win. Beau Frank and Scott Kramer each chipped in 11.
The Hawks continue play against Point Hope today at 2 p.m., and also face the host Nanooks on Saturday.

Warriors get best
of rematch
WASILLA — In a rematch of the 2010 4A state title game, the Wasilla Warriors scored a 48-38 nonconference win over the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears Thursday at Wasilla High School.
Wasilla, the 2010 runner-up, used a 19-5 first-quarter run to score the victory over the defending champions. Junior Alyssa Hutchins hit a pair of three-pointers and scored a game-high 14 points to lead Wasilla and help the Warriors improve to 7-0 this season.
Four different players added six points each for Wasilla. Taylor Larson led Juneau with 13.
The game marks a big three-day stretch for Wasilla, which hosts Palmer on Friday and Colony on Saturday.
