The Colony Knights stormed to a team title on their home mat, winning the Colony Invitational wrestling tournament Nov. 13 at Colony High School.
Colony finished with 344 total points in the team standings, well ahead of runner-up Palmer, which finished with 200.5. Wasilla was fourth with 94 points.
The Knights crowned nine individual champions. Asher Clayton (112 pounds), Elias Cordell (119), Evan Harris (130), Carter Silva (135), Jeffrey Reynolds (140), Elijah Larsen (145), Nolan Gallagher (160), Gabriel Beaudoin (189) and Daniel Van Slyke (285) all won their weight classes for the Knights. Ethan Osborn (130), Keith Connaker (171) and Jasper Houghtelling (189) placed second.
Kael Salisbury (103) and Antonio Woodfork (152) led Palmer with first-place finishes. Cody Vansiegeman (125), Lucas Frank (215) and Remington Mothershead (285) were second.
Joseph Spangler (103) and Chase Foss (112) led Wasilla with second-place finishes.
