PALMER — Jonathon Boyer got the best of a pitching dual at the Palmer Senior Field Monday night.
The Colony junior threw a seven-inning shutout to lead the Knights to a 2-0 win over the Palmer Moose.
Boyer, who fanned nine batters in the win, also collected an RBI. Boyer pushed Matt Palmer across the plate with a hit. Jacob Butcher also scored on a Damon Hammer sacrifice fly.
Palmer senior David Media was also strong on the mound, throwing a complete game. Media struck out five hitters.
