Lifelong Wasilla resident, Kristin Michele Maddux, 5, died Feb. 28, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A memorial celebration of life service will be held Friday, March 7, at 3 p.m. on the back lawn of the Best Western Lake Lucille Inn, 1300 W. Lake Lucille Drive in Wasilla. Rev. Paul Carter will officiate.
Kristin was born Aug. 6, 1997, in Anchorage. She attended Turning Point Child Care Center in Wasilla. She had a love for the outdoors and always wanted to be around horses.
Her family said, "Kristin was always a free spirit. She always loved to have all the attention. Kristin's 'Spirit' will be with us forever."
Kristin is survived by her father, Robert Maddux Jr.; her mother, Shelly Maddux; her brother, Cory Keener; her sister, Celine Maddux; grandparents, Michael and Barbara LaDuke and grandmother, Elizabeth Holland. Her grandfather, Jerry Holland, preceded her in death last month.
