America stands for freedom and the cornerstone of freedom is the ability to make choices. Kudos to the powers that be at City Hall, the Borough building, the Chamber of Commerce and anyone else responsible for helping to bring new businesses to Palmer, not only new businesses but needed and impressive ones.
For example, in that “what’s it going to be?” building on Cobb across from Fred Meyer, Lodestar Eye Clinic brings state-of-the-art eye specialization and the most up to date ophthalmology training to our little town. I was satisfied with my eye clinic in Wasilla but having Lodestar in Palmer allows me to utilize a local business, one which is welcoming, proficient, comfortable and offers a variety of options for all socioeconomic spectrums. By the way, Dr. Reynolds could easily have a second career as a designer: she designed the office structure and interior décor. It is beautiful, flows well, attractive and comfortable. There is a section for children to play; the staff is experienced and dedicated to service Alaska has exceptional medical facilities and personnel, especially here in the Valley. Eat your hearts out, Outside!
