Wow!
That was the unanimous response to the exciting inauguration of the Glenn Massay Theater at Mat-Su College on Feb. 7. The outstanding architecture paralleled the wonderful presentation by the Mat-Su Concert Band, Gleo Huyck, conductor. College Director Dr. Talis Colberg, widely known for his informative and always entertaining introductions and homilies, skillfully shepherded construction of the Theater. And, as an important footnote, Ashley Wedge sang a precise and truly beautiful Alaska Flag song to open the festivities.
Take note, theater and vocal groups, the Valley has a performance venue that exceeds in quality any of its size in the state of Alaska and awaits to show off your best.
Kudos to the University of Alaska and Dr. Colberg.
