KYLE R. BURKHART

Kyle Burkhart left this world to join our Lord in heaven on March 6, 2005. Kyle was taken by Lyme disease after a 3-1/2 year struggle.

A spreading of ashes and memorial will be June 7 at the Butte in Palmer, per his wishes.

His family wrote, "All who loved him fought to the end and kindness came from all directions. We are so very thankful for all the angels who came to our need. We, his loving and devoted family, will always cherish the time we were gifted with him. Time is precious and Kyle used his well."

"Kyle's songs will continue to warm us forever while his legacy lives on in Joshua, with his father's glowing wit, Jessica, with intelligence like the crack of a whip and Mesha, Daddy's little star."

Mr. Burkhart was born in North Dakota, but was raised and known in Palmer. He graduated from high school in 1978, married his high school sweetheart and instilled life in their three beautiful children, who carry his spirit, talent, and strength of will.

Mr. Burkhart had many careers, from deep sea diving to ballroom dancing, carpentry, sales and estate planning. He was coach and role model to countless thankful kids, best friend and father to all.

He is survived by his parents, Marilyn and Wayne Burkhart of Arizona; brothers, Britt of Washington, Jay of Alaska, Tony of Oregon and their families; friends and family of all kinds, and, most deeply, by his soulmate, Becky (Cullison) and their three children, Mesha of California and Jessica and Joshua of Washington.
