Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Larry Mullins, a native of Stonewall, Okla. and resident of Raymond for one year, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002, at the age of 58. He grew up in Selma and attended Selma schools. He was a self-employed general contractor.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, JF and Trudy Mullins and Carl and Ruby Wade.
He is survived by his wife Diane Denny Mullins of Raymond; his sons Jason Mullins of Fresno and Aaron and his wife Cecelia Mullins of Clovis; his daughter Lauren and her husband Dan Ladearious of Oregon; his father Thomas H. Mullins and his mother Melba L. Mullins both of Raymond; his brothers Bob Mullins of Madera, Tom Mullins of Hanford and Richard Mullins of Kansas; and by his sisters Mary Zeltner of Kansas and Trudy Sorensen of Clovis. He is the grandfather of five.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. at Jay Chapel in Madera.
