Legislators out of touch

To the editor,

I am writing you today to express my concern about the Legislators spending so much money on themselves. I agree with you completely when you said “we hope voters will see just how arrogant and disrespectful their actions are… it’s unconscionable that they would spend so much money on a few nights in the city.” I am happy that someone else feels the same way about the extreme apathy for the money they have accumulated through not only the honest tax payers, but also the donations of others. I am hoping that others will see how important it is to examine not just the promises of their politicians, but also their lives to see if these politicians are living up to those promises. The hypocrisy of politicians is becoming an ever-increasing problem that needs to be brought to light so that those that vote for them can vote wisely.
