To the editor:

As I'm typing this, this veteran sits here literally in tears on the Parks Hwy. It’s 6:24 p.m. on Monday.

He had me so emotional that I almost cried.

His bottom lip is quivering as the tears run down behind his sunglasses.

His name is Mike and a lot of people are beeping him in support.

He quoted, "Evil lurks when good men do nothing."

He shook my hand and thanked me for stopping.

Another horn honks as he salutes that driver.

Please share this.

I'm going to The Frontiersman paper tomorrow to share this incredible act of bravery.

Ironically, right behind him is Senator Lisa Murkowski’s office behind Pizza Hut.

I've been here 20 minutes or so and there is no sign of him or the car horns stopping.

God bless our Veterans!
