LETTER: Assembly candidate thankful for support

To the editor:

I want to thank each voter for fulfilling his or her civic duty. I wish Mr. Leonard a healthy three-year term in the Assembly. I am grateful to all my friends who worked with me on my first political campaign.

As an Independent voter and candidate I received support both within and outside my district. I also thank my financial supporters, especially my Local 52 ASEA for their donation. I received support from the AFL-CIO and Young Democrats with mailings. I thank you most graciously.

This was an extraordinary learning experience. I also must thank the Frontiersman for your coverage of each forum and the candidate interviews.
