LETTER: Churches have become a commercial industry

To the editor:

Since the borough is strapped for money, I suggest we impose a million dollar cap on property tax exemptions for churches.

Any property churches own that are valued over a million will be subject to paying property taxes on balance.

Churches have become a commercial industry, and should not be taking advantage of the community.
