To the editors:
Today, Feb 14 is a great day! A day of winning for We the People over a want-to-be tin pot dictator Governor Walker!
Tom Braund was picked by Governor Walker today to fill Senate District E seat! His letter to Senate President Pete Kelly was full of his decision being done only by dragging and kicking all the way!
The people of Senate District E, through a solid process vetted many people for the job. I have read the comments by Mr Kowalke. Those comments showed that he would not make a good Senator to begin with.
In talking to fellow conservatives, the Alaska Chapter of Association of Mature Citizens (AMAC) was but one of many conservative organizations that voiced our displeasure of the Governor's actions in not following historical process, based on the platforms of both the Republican and Democrat Parties. For once in Walker's time as Governor, he has listened and acted on the voice of the People over his dictates for what is best for us and the heck with what we think and want!
So, to all whom value the proper process and the Alaska State Constitution, thanks and let's win some more!
