In the last 25 years there has been a lot of growth in the valley, some good and some bad. As a registered independent I support some causes that would be considered conservative, some liberal. When it comes to my home and property I expect my assembly representative to ensure that my property values and quality of life are protected. Jim Sykes has done an outstanding job responding to the needs of all of his constituents regardless of political party. His opponent has a clear agenda that would subsidize and fasttrack things like gravel pits, cell towers, and strip mines in our neighborhoods under the guise of job creation which is never a function of government. Property owners are tired of being railroaded by people who have a political agenda.Jim Sykes has always responded to my concerns in a professional manner even when we disagree. On Oct. 4th please vote for Jim Sykes.
