Dear Editor of the Frontiersman,
I am writing to thank you for your featuring of the Colony/ Houston High School Marching Band Invitational on the front page of your Oct. 1 issue. I play tuba in the Colony band and appreciate your promotion and support of our art in the community. It is a great experience to be able to share our passion and talent. This is my second year in marching band and it is very encouraging to see another band joining us. I hope your showcasing of Houston will serve as inspiration to other local schools to start their own bands.
