LETTER: Thanks to Palmer Fire

To the editor:

Thanks to the Palmer Fire Department for providing the annual end of the year “Fire Truck Rides” to our Swanson students. This partnership with the department and Swanson dates back at least 30 years. Our staff and parents are grateful for the donated time from our local firefighters who inspire and encourage our young readers! We will never tire of seeing the delight on student’s faces as they make that trip through downtown Palmer in the firetruck. We are blessed to be part of a caring community and appreciate your support.
