Gov. Palin,
It was with a great deal of mixed feelings that I watched the news of your decision to step down as governor of Alaska.
You have suffered greater emotional trauma than anyone should have to, all because of your political and personal beliefs and the threat you pose to the Democratic Party.
Whether or not that was a crucial factor in your decision to relinquish your position as governor,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service to this country. You are a great American, a great mother and wife, and I truly hope that America has not heard the last of you.
This nation needs patriots like you.
I am scared to death by what our government is doing to my country, and I fear for the future of my children and my grandchild.
We need patriots. We need you.
