LETTER: Trump’s performance in once Democratic states earn ‘mandate’

To the editor:

As I write this rebuttal to Connie Nuss’ Letter to the Editor from Wednesday, “Trump has no mandate”, I am in the former great conservative State of Oregon.

Oh what a load of Californians can do to liberty!

BTW, geographically, the vast majority of Oregon voted for Trump, yet the high density where liberals live gave the electoral votes to Clinton. So, that leads into the rebuttal. When you look at the high population states like California, NY, NJ, etc. those votes go for the extreme left so thus when the popular vote numbers are tabulated, it appears that Hillary got the “popular vote”. Yet if you were to remove the California numbers, Trump wins the popular vote. Please California, secede from the union like the cry babies there are calling for!

As to mandate, when one looks at the map of the U.S., it is predominately Trump.

The Clinton (blue) is all large cities and even they didn’t vote in the numbers that Obama got! So, President elect Trump got higher turnout in small cities, towns, rural counties why? Easy, because we the working stiffs were tired of the entitlement non-working, Welfare, EBT moochers and saw in Trump a person who actually made jobs. That is important, since Hillary only created jobs in the Federal Government and continued keeping the poor down on the plantation (even Trump got higher votes by Blacks and Hispanics than other Republicans in the past).

Lastly, as to the Electoral College. In past elections places like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, all with double digit electoral votes went Democrat. Without those State Trump would have lost, thus Connie would not be crying about this “issue”. The disenfranchised working stiff that hasn’t increased his/her income in 15 years in those States saw the lies of the Democrats being for the “little guy”, saw through the lies of e-mailgate, Clinton Foundationgate, Benghazigate. They saw through the “vote for Hillary” because she wasn’t Trump.

Sure, our state’s 3 electoral votes don’t seem to count for much, but once Michigan is counted for Trump, our 3 votes is part of the 306!

Add the other small States and those States that have had enough of “Democracy” vs Republic and wanted America to be Safe Again, Strong Again, World Leader Again, Leading from the Front Again, Employed Again and most importantly, America Being Great Again for the next 16 years or more!
