Questions FBI probes

of elected officials

Alaska's U.S. senators and representative are being accused by the FBI of numerous felonies, including conspiracy and bribery. Regarless of a person's political affiliation:

€ Why are our legislators being targeted by FBI?

€ Are other states having their legislators targeted like ours?

€ Why are the ones targeted connected to oil concerns?

€ Does some power person who doesn't want development have a friend in the FBI?

€ The FBI built an office building in Anchorage a few years ago. Before that we did not have these problems? Is this the FBI having to justify its new building or their jobs?

€ If the rest of the trials turn out like the first one with Rep. Anderson, then it appears being innocent on some or all charges does not matter.

€ Is this about the FBI not being able to lose face? According to newscasts, the FBI apparently harassed witnesses for Rep. Anderson. Why?

€ What is really going on here?

€ If it can happen to them it can happen to you or me.
