Wasilla resident Lewis E. Smith Jr., 46, died Oct. 25, 2002, at his home, after an extended illness. A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery in Palmer, with Daulton Lott officiating.
Mr. Smith was born in Macon, Ga., on March, 31,1956. He came to Alaska in 1992 and resided in Wasilla.
He is survived by his mother Doris Wazesinski; father Lewis E. Smith Sr.; daughter Sunshine Wright; son Shawn Smith; sisters Ginny Lott and Tina Smith; brother Eddie Smith; grandchildren Harley Wright and Sean Johnson.
Arrangements were made by Kehl's Palmer Mortuary.
