There are many businesses in the Mat-Su area that hire teens and those businesses are appreciated as are the working teens. I’d like to give some recognition to Chris and Rhonda of Liberty Tax Service on the Parks Highway in Wasilla.
Chris and Rhonda are willing to provide some teens with their first work experience. Liberty Tax Service hires young teens to dance while dressed as the Statue of Liberty drawing attention to their business.
What Liberty Tax Service offers is so much more than a job dancing. Chris and Rhonda are employing our youth and teaching them how to be employees while supporting the need to maintain academic achievements.
Last year Liberty Tax Service hired my oldest son for his first employment experience and this year they have hired my 14-year-old son providing him his first work experience. You have shown them that business owners believe in teens and are willing to develop them.
Thank you for providing these first employment opportunities. Thank you for grooming these young people for future employment opportunities. I believe their second employers will benefit from what they have learned while being employed at Liberty Tax Service.
