MAT-SU — Drivers are encouraged to avoid the intersections at Parks Highway and Main Street/Knik-Goosebay Road and at the intersection of the Palmer-Wasilla Highway and Trunk Road while repairs are made to the traffic signals there.
The traffic signals are out in all directions and the intersections are now marked with four-way stop signs, according to the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities says. The cause of the outages is thus far unknown and repairs are expected to take several hours, DOT says.
