Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Linda Mihayl, born May 4, 1941, in Los Angeles, Calif., passed away suddenly Oct. 5, 2002, in Tacoma, Wash.
Mrs. Mihayl couragously battled five cancers and ultimately died of complications. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She loved shopping, scrapbooking, bowling, golf and horseback riding.
She is survived by husband Pete Mihayl; mother Lois Mead; sons, Robert (Cathy) Rosas Jr. and Daniel Rosas; daughters, Teri Conley and Robyn Rosas-Renner (Tyler Renner); brother Larry (Mary) Freeman; sisters, Leslee Freeman (James Swoggert) and Laurel (Robert) Ehrlich; and 12 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, from 2-4 p.m. at Mama Stortini's in University Place, Wash. Please call 253-565-5422 for additional information.
