Palmer resident Lisa Marie McIntosh, 29, died Dec. 7, 2002, at Valley Hospital in Palmer. A memorial service will be held in the spring on the Carson family farm off Fairview Loop in Wasilla.

Ms. McIntosh was born Feb. 4, 1973, at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks. During her childhood she lived in Washington and Oregon and returned to Alaska in 1993. She returned to Washington a year later, then returned again to Alaska in 1998, residing in Wasilla. She enjoyed reading books by her favorite author, Stephen King. She also enjoyed writing poetry, drawing. She was a lover of music and animals.

Her friends wrote, "Lisa was a friend to many, never passing judgment on those less than perfect. She was the life of any party. Lisa embraced life and lived it on her own terms. She will forever be held in our hearts and memories."

She is survived by her son Justin McIntosh of Seattle, Wash.; her mother Deborah McMahon of Wasilla; sisters Aurora McMahon and Ariel McMahon of Wasilla; grandparents Jim and Bunny Carson of Wasilla; aunt and uncle Crystal Shoup and Daryl Shoup of Wasilla; uncle Tom Frohlich and aunt Ellen Frohlich of Anchorage. She is also survived by her long-time friend Shane House of Wasilla; and by numerous cousins and friends.

Arrangements were made by Valley Funeral Home.
