PALMER — A stop for littering netted Alaska State Troopers three arrests, an illegal gun and a handful of drug charges.
According to a press statement, a trooper pulled the green F-250 over at 5:33 p.m., Sunday on the Parks Highway near Trunk Road.
Here’s the list of the people arrested:
• Driver Dana Holzworth, 28, of Wasilla, was charged with driving on a revoked license, not immediately telling troopers he had a gun, possessing a user’s amount of methamphetamines and diazepam pills, and having an illegal silencer on his rifle.
• Passenger Mark Tyree, 25, of Palmer, was charged with not notifying troopers he possessed a gun and for having a user’s amount of meth and heroin.
• Passenger Mark Komorowski, 32, of Anchorage, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for theft and forgery.
Holzowrth and Tyree had their bail withheld pending arraignment, which wasn’t accomplished until Monday afternoon. Bail for Komorowski was set at $11,000. As of 2 p.m., Monday, all three were listed as inmates of the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility.
