Local artist Suzie Althens and The Friends of Sutton Library have organized a special sale of Alaska wildflower prints between Nov. 1-30. Proceeds will be split between the new Sutton Library building fund and the relief organization World Vision.
Prints may be purchased at the Sutton Library by check, money order (made out to Suzie), or cash.
They may also be ordered online at SuziesArt.com using a credit card or PayPal. The special sale prices are all 11 prints for $100, three prints for $30, or one print for $15. Althens will sign prints at the Sutton Library from 2 to 4 p.m., Nov. 12.
The current library building serves almost 16,000 patrons in 2,400 square feet. Construction of the new 6,250 sq. ft. building has begun near the Sutton Post Office.
