ANCHORAGE — The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced late Monday afternoon that three Wasilla men were indicted on federal charges of possessing stolen firearms.
Justin Anderson, 28, Brian Bosch, 28 and Joshua Cowley, 30, were the three defendants in a 10-count indictment prosecutors presented to a federal grand jury.
Prosecutors say they believe the three men were running a racket wherein they would brake into Valley homes, take firearms, then sell them at pawn shops. Overall, prosecutors say they were able to link the three men to seven break-ins and 17 stolen guns.
According to prosecutors, the total sentence for each defendant is a maximum of 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000 or both.
