In honor of Veterans Day, an Anchorage military veteran received the keys to a new vehicle as part of Progressive’s 12th annual ‘Keys to Progress’ on November 14, 2024. Progress vehicle giveaway program provides veterans and military-related organizations across the country with keys to a new vehicles.

Keith Johnson, who served in the U.S. Army for 13 years, received the keys to his 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Toul. The giveaway provides veterans with reliable transportation, helping them get back on the road and move forward in life.

Since its launch in 2013, the Keys to Progress program has donated more than 1,100 vehicles to veterans with the help of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

“What feels so good about this program is truly giving back to those who sacrificed so much for us,” said John Murphy, Progressive Claims President. “This is a chance for us to make things a little easier, and then to hear the stories afterwards about how they’ve put this new transportation to good use.”

Aside from the vehicle, recipients also do not have to worry about maintenance for a year, as well as insurance for six months.
