Loud couple lands in jail

BIG LAKE — A pair of rowdy Anchorage residents were arrested Saturday after Alaska State Troopers told them to quiet down and they didn’t, then one damaged trooper equipment trying to spring the other from custody.

Or, as troopers put it in a press release:

“The individuals were disturbing the peace and privacy of other citizens and refused to stop their behavior.”

The two people arrested were Joshua Jennett, 53, Tammy Jennett, 49.

Joshua Jennett was arrested first and troopers report he resisted. He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

While he was in custody, troopers say Tammy Jennet allegedly assaulted an officer, resisted arrest and did $200 damage “to state equipment when attempting to free J. Jennett.”

She was charged with assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Both were jailed at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. Joshua Jennett’s bail was set at $1,000.

Tammy Jennett’s bail was set at $2,500 and she was ordered to find a third party to watch over her before she can be released. Jail records Monday afternoon showed both had made bail.
