To the editor:
Do you remember getting a letter in your mailbox or from the postman delivering it to your door? I do. I love receiving letters from people for several reasons.
One is that you realize that person has taken the time to write to you. Another wonderful reason is that you can later pick up that letter and re-read it. Many times when we read something, our minds are not completely on it — at least that seems to be the way it is with me. Our multi-tasking lives interfere with our complete attention at times.
Sometimes, even years later, you run across that letter or card or thank-you note making you remember those sometimes-lost friends and nudge you to contact them again.
Well, I would like to tell you that the paper edition of the Frontiersman is that way for me. I scan it and drop it on the floor beside my chair and later pick it up again to find something I had seen when I had scanned it earlier, either that day or sometimes the week before.
There are so many important things in our local paper.
I just wanted to let you know we do enjoy the real thing and I can never find what I am looking for, or what was previously on the web page, looking online. I am sure others feel the same way as I do, but neglect to tell you so.
Now where did I put yesterday’s paper?
