July 27, 1949 - April 18, 2026 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Madelyn Leslie Belt, age 76, at Mat-Su Regional Hospital in Palmer Alaska. She was born July 27, 1949, in Gloucester Massachusetts; daughter of the late Richard and Joan Clark. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Michael James Belt and is survived by her son Michael and daughter-in-law Melissa of Wasilla Alaska, daughter Melinda and son-in-law Billy of Jonesborough Tennessee, granddaughters Mackenzie, Mallorie, Darrian, Madison, and Mollie and great-grandchildren Atlas and Ruby. Madelyn was warm and kind, always spoke her mind and will be lovingly remembered. Prior to retiring in Alaska Madelyn worked at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Melbourne, Florida where she was a member for over a decade. She loved the Lord, beading jewelry, reading, baking cookies, soaking up sunshine on the beach while in Florida. Though she will be dearly missed, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace and we will see her again. At the family’s request there will be no service at this time.
