Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Madlin L. Wilson, 89, died on May 28, 2003 at the home of her granddaughter, Debbie Hildebrand, in Wasilla.
A memorial service will be held in Libby, Montana at a later date.
Mrs. Wilson was born March 2, 1914 to Theobald and Rosena Kirschenmann in Burnstead, North Dakota. She was one of 10 children.
In 1934 the family moved to Hardin, Montana where she met and married Harold L. Wilson in 1936. The lived in Trego, Fortine, Eureka, then Libby, Montana.
Mrs. Wilson moved to Alaska April 4, 2002. She was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed being with her family, crocheting, church activities and helping people.
Harold preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by an infant son and her granddaughter, Tami Sena, in 1977.
Madlin was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Kalispell and Libby, Montana.
Family wrote; "She went to be with Jesus. We will miss her and love her very much, but know she is at peace."
Surviving her are her 3 daughters, Evelyn R. Sena and her husband Benny of Wasilla, Madelle M. Bowen and her husband Jim of Griffen, Georgia and Ida R. Fisher of Kalispell, Montana; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wasilla.
