The event is a casual musical play where the audience also receives a full three-course meal and sometimes even participates. The Palmer High Music Scholarship Program — the only of its kind in the Valley — is funded by the Madrigal Feast. The scholarships awarded from the department support students attending college or seeking private music instruction. On closing night Saturday, the great hall of the church was jam-packed not only with people, but also outbursts of laughter. If you haven’t been to the PHS Madrigal Feast, you are missing one of the funniest drama performances of the year. The event is so popular it is probably already nearly sold out for next year.
